Read my views On health and nutrition--my philosophy

I am a privately licensed, Certified Nutritionist practicing in the tri-county area in Portland, Oregon. In order to maintain my license I take 16 Contact Education Units per year. In addition, I continually educate myself through professional publications, seminars, classes, conferences and the Internet to keep up with current knowledge in the field of clinical nutrition.

My life in a nutshell: I was born and raised in Budapest, Hungary, where I received my first college education. In 1970, I came to the U.S. to join family already living here. I became a US citizen in 1978. In 1981, I got married and we moved to Oregon. Currently I live in Portland with my husband and son. I have been helping people get better since 1992. In 2000, I earned my Certified Nutritionist degree and have been in private practice since.

More personal stuff

In my growing-up years in Hungary, I didn’t see a doctor but maybe 4-5 times all told, because my mother handled, quite effectively, most minor emergencies like accidents, colds, flu’s and ear infections with simple traditional and common sense remedies. The most serious drug I ever took was aspirin for growing pains. I was pretty healthy. Some of the remedies I recommend, I learned from my mother. It worked all her life and mine, it should work for you too, right?

In order to serve the community I write articles and give informative talks about various health topics to groups who invite me. I also participate in lobbying in the interest of organic foods, natural supplements and alternative health care. My Health Empowerment workshops teach people how to read the signs their bodies give them. Self knowledge empowers.

Sometimes, stress and trauma stored deep in cellular memory gets in the way of healing. The body needs the dysfunction in order to balance itself. To deal with this problem I developed “Deep Healing”, a method by which we can remove the obstacle to healing and restore the natural flow of energy.

When I’m not thinking about you, or studying so that I may think better about you, I spend time in my garden. Gardening is the way I disconnect from my head and just allow the flow to carry me where it will. I love the wildlife that visits my garden and I feed the squirrels too. They are hand tamed and jump on my shoulder from any odd tree to get peanuts.

The rest of my time belongs to my friends and family and I’m fortunate to have a small but very wonderful group of loving people in my life. I hope you do too!
