workshop topics:
"Improve
your health through self-assessment. Fat savvy."
In this workshop
we will look at how we can monitor our health through understanding the signs our
bodies give us (tongue, hair, fingernails etc.) General nutrition guidelines.
Food pyramid evaluation. The basics on good vs. bad fats.
"Seasonal
eating: autumn. How to stop a cold. Good fats: olive oil."
This
workshop will investigate why we should eat in harmony with the seasons. Autumn
specific foods. We will look at the benefits of olive oil in our diet. How to
stop a cold from stopping you with natural methods such as food, herbs and massaging your own key acupressure points.
"Self
Mastery with body typing. Good fats: coconut oil." This time we
will explore one of the oldest methods of body typing: ayurvedic body types. Body
typing lays the foundation for the intimate self knowledge that is the goal of
this workshop series. You will understand why you don't like the wind, why you
get colds in damp weather or why hot spices disagree with you. We will also look
at fats further, this time coconut oil.
